New Operating iOS 6 for the iPhone and iPad will do away with Standard YouTube App
The app is removed from the home screen but can still be downloaded as a separate app from the App Store. The reason is that the agreement with Apple to Google, the owner of YouTube, now expired. If you want to watch movies in iOS 6 via YouTube, you need - good old-fashioned - the official website surfing with Safari.
Apple had a 5-year agreement with Google and YouTube which would have expired not more standard part of iOS 6. Yet it is remarkable that more and more Apple iOS from Google is to ban. This will also disappear from Google Maps iOS 6 in favor of Apple Maps.
Many users are disappointed with the loss of the standard YouTube app, but it will became, the true benefits. Apple has in the five years that the contract expired, the app should update.
